We are like books.  So many books, so little time.  A great book doesn't just tell a story; it changes the reader.  Reading one chapter is like eating one potato chip.  The quote "Most people only see our cover; the minority read only the introduction; and few will know our content".  If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking.  Never stop learning because life never stops teaching; Never stop learning, for when we stop learning we stop growing.  As long as you're green you're growing, as soon as you're ripe you start to rot.  Never be afraid to try new things, and make some mistakes; it's all part of life and learning.  If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you; if you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.  I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.  If you learn from your mistakes, you are intelligent.  If you learn from someone else’s mistake, you are wise.  The illiterate of the 2lst century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.

Life is like riding a bicycle.  To keep your balance, you must keep moving.  Flowing water cannot be severed.  Just like rivers reach the ocean, not because they're strong, but because they refuse to stop flowing.  Knowledge, like air, is vital to life; no one should be denied it.  The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance; it is the illusion of knowledge.  Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice.  Knowledge without action is wastefulness, and action without knowledge is foolishness.  Teachers can open the door, but you must enter it yourself.  The best teachers are those who show you where to look but don't tell you what to see.  Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.  Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.  The more you learn to live without, the more you’ll have to live with.  Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.  Those who have knowledge don't predict, and those who predict don't have knowledge.  Knowledge makes a man unfit to be a slave.  The situation will teach you the real meaning of life.  The saying: A hungry stomach, an empty pocket, and a broken heart can teach the best lessons of life.
